Since the year 2017, with the exception of the year 2020 & 2021, when the covid 19 pandemic had hit the world, St. Clare parish Kasarani, has given business owners/entrepreneurs (Individuals, SMEs & Corporates) within and without the parish a platform to exhibit their goods and services. This event takes place every October at St. Francis Catholic Church, located along Kasarani-Mwiki road, behind St. Francis community hospital.
This year’s occasion(6th edition), will take place at the same venue on 6th October, 2024, from 7 am to 6 pm. The expo commensurates with one of the aspects of Christ’s mission(church’s mission) of economic liberation.
The theme for this year’s event, “Entrepreneurship – a Step of Faith for Empowering Society”, is an inspiration to business owners/entrepreneurs to go forth boldly and venture into different business ideas that are aligned with their passions so as to earn a living, contribute to the growth of the economy and fulfil their Community Social Responsibility(CSR) of helping the vulnerable.
With a congregation of about 10,000 active Christians, St. Clare Parish, is an ideal place for any business owner/entrepreneur to come and market their business, earn actual & potential clients and forge meaningful networks. Exhibitors come from all sectors of the economy. From health, hospitality, real estate, insurance, education, technology, clothing and textile, banking etc.
People’s well being is taken care of (exhibitors & their audience)with an ambulance put on standby incase of any health emergency. Entertainment is also provided to keep the crowd lively and participative.
